About Patty Scherer

Born and raised in New Jersey, Patty first came to Maryland after high school to attend The University of Maryland. Upon graduation, she returned home and started a career in the Payroll and Human Resources industry working in both New Jersey and New York City. But the pull of this beautiful state of Maryland was strong, and she moved back three years later. Patty continued her career in the Payroll/HR field for another eight years before having her first of four children. She became a stay-at-home mother and became involved in many school and community activities. She is active in the Garden Club of Frederick, serves on the Board of Trustees of Saint John's Catholic Prep High School, and served as an officer in her Homeowners Association for 12 years. Patty has always had a love for real estate. She has bought and sold several of her own homes over the past 25 years. The traditional home style and charm of Frederick is what drew Patty and her husband here in 2001. The wonderful community and all of the many amenities and activities are what has kept them here ever since.
